Duties include performing light electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic maintenance tasks, supporting daily operations with preventative maintenance, and assisting with equipment troubleshooting and repairs.Visual Comfort Offers:Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:30 pm – 12:00 amTraining & Development: A comprehensive and structured training program, complemented by ongoing education and opportunities for career advancement.Paid Time Off: Generous vacation accrual and paid time off policies.Holidays: 7 paid holidays per year, in addition to 2 floating holidays.Compensation: Competitive compensation planHealth Benefits: Visual Comfort covers the majority of employee medical premiums, and offers competitive vision and dental coverage available starting the first of the month following your start date.Insurance: Company-provided life insurance and short-term disability coverage.Retirement: 401(k) plan with company matching up to 4%, available beginning the first of the month following your hire date.How success is defined:Maintain machinery, meeting maintenance requirements for 480-volt, 3 phase systems, and minimizing downtime will be necessary.Install and repair electrical systemsSupport, troubleshoot, improve, and maintain conveyor systemsUtilize maintenance software to accurately and thoroughly detail and track all corrective and preventive maintenance performed throughout the course of the day, including searching and issuing parts, documenting equipment issues, and entering inspectionsPrioritize and self-schedule maintenance work around production activities.Drive plant goals & objectives through individually led projects and continuous improvement activitiesEnsure quality standards are always met.Other duties as assigned by leadershipWhat you will bring:5 years of experience in facility maintenanceOutstanding communication and team-orientation skills.Ability to troubleshoot problems, identify root causes (e.g., six sigma analysis) and propose and implement remediesAbility to read and interpret electrical schematicsAbility to perform mechanical work, conveyor bearing and chain replacement, motor/gearbox replacement, ability to cut and lace beltsApplication of high-level quality standards.Adhere to plant safety and 5S requirements; Complete assigned work efficiently and per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Excellent computer skills.Compensation Range: $21.58 + $1.00 Shift PremiumCompensation is based on individual factors, including skill set, relevant experience, and work locationQualified applicants are considered for employment, and employees are treated during employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, gender identity, or expression, genetic information, or any other legally protected status.To be eligible for this role, you must be authorized to work in the United States.
