Adult Endocrinologist

Location: South Central Pennsylvania

Position Overview
  • Practice Focus: A comprehensive outpatient endocrinology practice that specializes in diabetes management, thyroid disorders, pituitary issues, osteoporosis, and hormonal care for transgender patients.
  • Outpatient Environment: Primarily focused on outpatient care, with consultative support available for inpatient endocrine cases.
  • Diabetes Management: A well-established diabetes program that includes support for insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), and diabetes education.
  • Thyroid Care: In-office capabilities for thyroid ultrasounds and biopsies.
  • Academic & Research Opportunities: Engage in future clinical research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnosing and managing a wide range of endocrine disorders in an outpatient setting.
  • Providing consultative support to the inpatient endocrine nurse practitioner team.
  • Managing diabetes care using advanced technologies, including insulin pumps and CGM devices.
  • Participating in the development and enhancement of advanced thyroid services, including ultrasound and biopsy procedures performed in-office.
  • Collaborating with a dedicated infusion center for endocrine testing and treatment.
  • Supporting initiatives for osteoporosis management and fracture prevention.
  • Contributing to future clinical research and program development.

Candidate Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
  • Completion of an Endocrinology Fellowship.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.
  • Recent fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply.
